Indonesia stocks lower at close of trade; IDX Composite Index down 0.64%

Indonesia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the InfrastructureFinancials and Agriculture sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index declined 0.64%.

The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Panca Global Securities Tbk (JK:PEGE), which rose 34.68% or 43.00 points to trade at 167.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Informasi Teknologi Indonesia Tbk (JK:JATI) added 29.41% or 35.00 points to end at 154.00 and Bekasi Asri Pemula Tbk (JK:BAPA) was up 27.27% or 21.00 points to 98.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Puri Global Sukses Tbk Pt (JK:PURI), which fell 14.81% or 140.00 points to trade at 805.00 at the close. Golden Flower Tbk PT (JK:POLU) declined 14.23% or 3,725.00 points to end at 22,450.00 and Sentral Mitra Informatika Tbk PT (JK:LUCK) was down 12.32% or 17.00 points to 121.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 440 to 228 and 181 ended unchanged.

Shares in Panca Global Securities Tbk (JK:PEGE) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 34.68% or 43.00 to 167.00. Shares in Bekasi Asri Pemula Tbk (JK:BAPA) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 27.27% or 21.00 to 98.00.

Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.60% or 0.36 to $59.50 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.58% or 0.37 to hit $63.83 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.30% or 53.16 to trade at $4,021.34 a troy ounce.
